The Search – Touching drama of American cadet Clift regarding for concentration camp survivor Jandl in postwar Berlin, when the lad’s mother despondently looks all over the camps for him. The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe – This is a witty re-creation of Lily Tomlin’s 1985 one female Broadway show. Her characterizations run the range from box woman to juvenile delinquent to New Age Lady, with much of the material in a feminist vein. The show stars Lily Tomlin obviously. (120 minutes, 1991)
Addicted to Love – This movie is a dark comedy where we observe an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of retribution for her previous significant other. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star.
