The following are 10 simple yet very powerful ways to increase your sales significantly:

1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer. Send an email thanking the customer for there purchase and include links to other products you advertise. You can email them once a week to make sure everything is working out well for them. The main goal in emailing them once a week is to build trust with the customer, so make sure to stay in contact with them.

2. You could upsell to your customers. After they click the link to make the purchase, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order.

3. Have a referral sale and tell everyone that if they can refer 5 other people to your product, then you will give them a complete refund of there purchase price. This can turn your 1 product sale in to 3, 4 or even more sales, with no effort on your part. Because most of your customers will only refer a couple of people you won’t have to give away to many refunds.

4. After you make a sale of an item, give your buyers the choice of joining your affiliate program for the item they just purchased, then they can earn money by advertising the same product they just bought. This will multiply the sale you just made.

5. Add an option for your customer to buy the resale rights to this product. Offer this as one of your upgrades to up sell the customer or include the ad in the download. This will boost new sales from the same customer by giving them this option.

6. Group together other products you sell from the same niche and offer them at a discounted price. You can include an ad or flyer for other products you sell and have other businesses selling for you.

7. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you.

8. Build a catalog of all of the different items you sell, then send this catalog to every person who has or will buy something from you. Include in your catalog all items that you sell and include an upgrade to the product the customer has already purchased. If they liked the first product they will buy from you again.

9. Offer gift certificates for your site. Your income will increase when people buy the gift certificate or gift card. Then when and if the recipient cashes it in, they could also buy other items from your web site.

10. Send your customers gifts when they spend a certain amount at your website. The freebies should have your ad printed on them. You can have baseball caps made up that has your website printed on the front. This will allow other people to see your ad and order.

There you go. You should start to implement these steps right now, and the more you use the more you will make. As I said, they are easy to start using but the outcome could be a substantial increase in your conversion and/or buy rate which is the ultimate goal. Make sure to make your customer comfortable with you, this will be the main key to getting them to come back and purchasing more products.
